Why I started a site on endurance pads?

When I got interested in riding horses I started to look on the internet for related resources, to learn about what saddle to buy, if I need a pad, how to take care of my horse, my health, etc. I was very impressed with the fact that the internet had a lot to offer me from this point of view. There are a lot of websites out there that offers good information on riding horses and about best practices of riding. The fact is that I decided to start such a website about endurance pads, exactly because other people might be interested in this and I wanted to help a bit because I was also helped by the information provided by other sites.

However, I was not very impressed by the quality of the sites speaking about endurance saddle pads, about what they offer and how they are built. The sites, I mean, not the pads. But there's a good thing here. If a site looks very professional, means that some IT professional designed it, while if it does not look very clean and taken care of, it tells me that there is built using a lot of passion and the guy behind it really means what he says there.

If you look around you will see that a lot of the websites speaking about endurance saddle pads don't look that well, because they are written by people who love horses, not computers, but they make a huge effort to keep the site alive so other people interested in them to get the information they need. I really admire those guys and I really read the information there, about horses, about saddles, about how to ride the right way, how to take care of your horse, how to feed your horse, how to buy a horse, all these information can be found on sites written by people with a lot of passion for this domain. I like it and I do my best to develop such a site so other people get the information they need. This is why I want to maintain this.
